We are group 7 and, we'll share you what we have learned on how to become effective leader. An effective leader is generally someone that leads by example, and other people just tend to follow him because they believe what he does is the right thing.
- Responsible: An effective leader should be willing to take responsibilities, “with great power comes great responsibility”
- Risk taker: Taking calculated risk is what separates a great leader from a good leader.
- Competitive: Pressure from competition causes people to search for ways to improve their company/group’s performance. These improvements, in turn, make companies/ groups stronger competitors.
- Honest: A good leader know that he needs to respect and remain honest to his/her members in order for them to return the respect and honesty.
- Take blame: An effective leader accepts the blame. Knowing that it was on his or her watch that the trouble started and passes along the honor that the organization receives and passes back upward the names of the people who deserve that acclaim.
- Persevere: As an effective leader, it is very important to push the limits in order to achieve success.
- Loyal: An effective leader is loyal to his or her members and never leave them behind even if the path to success gets hard.
- Passionate: If you're passionate to your work and peers you will surely enjoy and successfully reach your goal.
- Considerate: An effective leader doesn't always focus on what he wants or what needs to be done, but he also considers the feelings of others.
- Integrity: Ethics is the strong key for others to respect you and your role.
- Good listener: An effective leader listens to others opinions, ideas and feelings.

15 signs you're an entrepreneur: passionate, dedicated, optimistic. These words can apply to entrepreneurs but insecure and trouble maker are also accurate according to many who know and success when they see one. You might be can entrepreneur, if the following traits describe you:
- You take action. Barbara Corcoran, founder of the Corcoran group and co-start of the TV show says, “people who have a concept but no a detailed strategy are more likely to have that special entrepreneurial ability. Corcoran’s recommendation, “invent as you go rather than spending time writing a plan in your desk”.
- You're insecure. “Many entrepreneurs are really insecure underneath”, Corcoran says. Those who are nervous about failing can become hyper focused on success. If you feel insecure, use that emotion to drive you to achieve your business goals.
- You are crafty “one of my favorite tv shows growing up was “MacGyver” says Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos because he never had exactly the resources he needed, but with some help he figured out to make everything work out. Hsieh says he admired MacGyver’s creativity, optimism and extrem-smart. It’s not about having enough resources but being resourceful with what you do have.
- You're obsessed with cash flow. “All ever thought about was cash flow and liquidity” says Joe Gustafson, founder of Brainshark. You need cash to fight the battle one more day even if you have the best company in the world.
- You get into hot water. Stephane Bourque, founder and CEO of the Incognito software says “true entrepreneurs are more likely to ask for forgiveness than permission”. “Entrepreneurs are never satisfied with the status quo”, he says. Bourque says, “I wish my employees would get into more trouble because it shows they're in the lookout for opportunities to improve”.
- You're fearless. “Where most avoid risk, entrepreneurs see potential”, says chef Robert Irvine, host of food network’s restaurant impossible. “In some ways, he says, entrepreneurs are the ultimate, optimist” because they operate under the belief that their investments of time and money will eventually pay off.
- You can't sit still. Entrepreneurs have unbridle energy that fulfills them along the pass when their employees have gone home. They are eager, excited and energized about business in a way that makes them stand out.
- You are malleable. If you have only one acceptable outcome in mind, your chances of making it are slim” partner Rosemary Camposano, president and CEO of Halo bars. Smart entrepreneurs consistently evolve, tweaking their business concepts in response to market feedback.
- You enjoy navel gazing. “Entrepreneurs need to be comfortable with the process of evaluating their own performance”, says Laura Novak Meyer, owner of Little Nest Portraits. Little Nest surveys every client to ask for opportunities for improvement and Meyer has worked closely with a business coach to identify personal areas where she needs to improve.
- You are motivated by challenges. “When confronted by problems, entrepreneurs rise to the occasion. Challenges motivate them to work harder” says Jeff Platt, CEO of the Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park franchise. Candace Nelson, founder of Sprinkles cupcakes agrees, despite nail sales who question her idea for a bakery in the midst of the carfair early two thousands, she persevered and now has locations in eight states.
- You consider yourself an outsider. “Entrepreneurs are not always accepted”, says Vincent Petrik, founder of J.P. Licks, a chaine of ice cream shots”. They are often rejected for being different in some way and that just makes them work harder “ he says. Rather than copying what most ice cream shops were doing, Petrik forged his own path. His earlier competitors are the ones are not wondering business.
- You recover quickly. It’s a popular notion that successful entrepreneurs fail fast and fail often. If you fail, resist the air to move. Don’t feel sorry for yourself, don’t wallow, move on to the next big thing immediately.
- You fulfill needs. ”Many people recognize marketplace holes, but the true entrepreneurs take them from cocktail napkin to reality” says Jennifer Dawn, partner in savor the success, a business that works for women. “Entrepreneurs think of a way to fix and take steps to fix, they are innovators”.
- You surround yourself with advisors. Actress Jessica Alba, co founder and president of the Honest company says it’s important to surround yourself with people smarter than you, and to listen to ideas that aren't yours. True entrepreneurs don't hire yes men; they talk to those with experience and conduct thorough research gathering as much information as they can to make informed decisions.
- You work and play hard. “Entrepreneurs fall down and pick themselves up until they get it right” says Micha Kaufman who snowboards and sales in addition to running fiverr, the online marketplace he co-founded. During Fiverr’s launch, instead of trying to deal with an endless number of potential challenges, Kaufman and his team focused on the single biggest challenge every market has, “building liquidity”. He says, “not building liquidity is like worrying about the skills needed for frans.. three sixty jumps before learning snowboard basics.

Qualities of an Entrepreneur - Video 3

Entrepreneurs have some unique qualities and it's a good idea to think about whether you might already have some of these qualities or want to develop them. We can review some of these qualities now for a more in-depth look please explore some of the great resources in this podcast, or take the entrepreneur potential self assessment available for your local small business enterprise center.
The first key quality is being confident and enthusiastic. Entrepreneurs know they have something to contribute and are confident and optimistic, they have the skills and determination to do so. Believing in yourself is important. Many people don't feel self-confident some or all the time. Even successful entrepreneurs have moments of doubt. Boys and girls clubs can help with this. If you would like to find ways to explore and develop your strengths and skills please contact your local boys and girls club for other child and youth serving organizations in your community.
The second key quality is being creative, imaginative, and vision oriented. Entrepreneurs have a vision for where they want to go, what problems or issues they want to solve and creative and imaginative ideas about how they might get there.
The third quality is being motivated and determined. Entrepreneurs have a strong desire to achieve their goals and are motivated and determined to do so.
The fourth key quality is being willing to build networks. Entrepreneurs know it takes a village to appears and mentors to help launch successful business. They know that building networks can help to create a customer base for the business as well
The fifth key quality is being willing to take responsibility and take calculated risk. Entrepreneurs are willing to take responsibility for planning and launching a business to achieve their goals, and they know that there is some risk involved in doing so. They plan carefully and seek support from peers and mentors to minimize financial and other risks.
The six key quality is perseverance. Entrepreneurs know that creating a sustanting of business takes determination for the long haul. They are willing to persevere to achieve their dreams of becoming their own boss, pursuing their passion, and making the world a better place.
But, what if decide that I don't want to assume the responsibility for starting my own business? what then? every young person has something special to contribute to the world as an entrepreneur employee in someone else's business or in their nonprofit sector, and their families and communities. The key is to decide what you want to contribute. Set your goals, develop your plan, and seek support. Getting support along the way is important. Whatever you want to do, boys and girls clubs and other organizations and now.
